Ok so does that creature look like a GOUL’D from Stargate SG1? WTF GOUL’Ds were symbiots too. Sounds like someone is doing some copying here.

Prometheus looks like it has potential to be a good movie, I just hope Riddley isn’t another one of the ‘oldie goldie greats’ that has completely lost the desire to make good movies; instead trading in the hard work of great story telling, ingenious camera work and bitchin sets, for flashy special effects and tons of action.

They could tell the story without destroying everything that made the original movies so successful. Facehuggers and Xenomorph’s were a great part of the original story, and it appears from the trailer to incorporate several elements from the original.

Put it this way: Facehuggers+Xenomorph’s+Big Ass Guns+Spaceships+Darkness+Sinister Environments+Acid Blood+Creepy Music+Great Story+Chest Ripping Gory Greatness = Alien

Slugs+Controlling Symbiotes+ Laser Guns+Plus Infectious Agent+Zombie People+Aliens+Bright Well Light Environments+Endless Action= Stargate 28 Days Later.

But that is just my opinion, I will wait and see, and hope that they have done great things with it.

I cant wait for this movie, which im told will be split into two parts. But I suspect the 2nd part will take place after the events of Alien 4, in which the Spacejockey race eventually finds Earth and its basically overrun.

The Dark Horse comics did a good job at destroying the earth.

I am so looking forward to this film. Even it it turns out to be a pile of wank, it’s worth it for the effects.
