I'll have to say that one of my favorite times as a gamer was when the Nintendo 64 hit the scene. I was still in school back then, and over the summer I had nothing but time to kill. Thus I spent most of my waking hours playing Goldeneye, Mario Kart 64, Zelda and Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. Turok is one of those games that I really didn't expect to enjoy, and thus surprised me. Unfortunately the sequels haven't quite filled me with the same experience as the original. I'm hoping that the latest installment doesn't disappoint like the previous title.
If you weren't jaded by the failure of Turok: Evolution, then there's a chance that you may be considering preordering the latest sequel simply titled Turok. Like many games, you'll get a little something extra for being so eager that you'll actually pay for the game before receiving it. Depending on where you go, you'll get something different.
A preorder at Best Buy will net you a Turok beanie, GameStop is giving you a T-Shirt, Game Crazy has Turok Claw Necklaces and a trip to Walmart will result in a new Turok skin for your Xbox 360. The game comes out on February 5th, so you'll want to hit one of those stores in the next few days to get your swag.
