Way back in October I showed you a cool controller from Ben Heck that would allow you to play games on your 360 using only a single hand. Well you can finally pre-order one of these awesome controllers. The only snag is that it’s not actually for the 360.

One-handed controller

The one being offered will be for the PS3/PS2/PC, rather than the 360. Honestly, I’m not sure why the 360 one isn’t getting some lovin too, but it’s awesome that this thing is getting made at all.

You can head here to get your pre-order in for the $129.95 controller. You can expect it to ship out in 8-10 weeks, which means you’ve still got a little while to wait. This is currently only a limited first-edition run, so you’d better order yours quick before they’re out!

I would wager that the reason the 360 is not getting any ‘love’ on this is the same reason most (if not all) of the 360 controllers you can buy are made by Microsoft. It would seem that Microsoft is not allowing for 3rd party controllers to be made. Either that, or their requirements are too high (either cost or quality).

I actually wish Sony would raise their restrictions on 3rd party controllers. I used to buy them all the time for the PS1 and PS2, but have found that even the ‘name brand’ ones tend to be crap.

That is a novel idea, I wonder if there are many one handed gamers out there? I am being serious here, there must be some who are less abled?
