You seem to forget two things. First, your punctuation…a true sign of an uneducated and/or ignorant mind. Second, just because Xbox Live users pay for a subscription, doesn’t make their network anymore secure. The PSN was hacked first because there is a much larger number of users on the PSN. It takes an intelligent set of minds to pull of a hack of this magnitude…and as such, an intelligent mind would go for a bigger payout.

Let me put it in terms your pre-school mind can comprehend: You will make more money from a larger crowd (Playstation Network), and less money from a smaller crowd (Xbox Live). Now it’s your turn to rebuttal…I know it is hard for a caveman like you, but try to respond in a civilized and intelligent manner, instead of getting mad and calling me a name because you don’t know what else to say.

I dont care for the games..would’ve like the credit instead so i can buy the new maps on Black Ops…but other than that…i’m just happy the network is up and running. Dont care for the compensation.

Derek, your a duesh bag! I’ve had an Xbox account since the day it was available! But i haven’t had a gold account for almost 9 months now! you know why?!! cause its a waste of money! Xbox games freeze all the dam time! sure when you download the game to the hard drive it works better (fall out 3 new vagas) but it still freezes! and don’t try to use “you must have an old system”! i have and original 360 and a new Halo reach version. it freezes on BOTH!
And not to mention the 360 only plays DVDs! My PS plays blue ray! and it loads the movies faster then most Blue ray players! The network is free! the way it should be! Yes i’m pissed they got hacked, i couldn’t play MW2 for ever! but you know what!!!! I haven’t run across any Hackers playing online! try that with the 360! it wasn’t even 2 weeks into any of the Halo games and there were hackers cheating online! The adults play the PS3 and the whinny little brats like yourself still beat there heads on the wall with the 360.

I believe that the very vast majority of ps3 users could care less for the games Sony is compensating us with. I received an email from the playstation network saying that my name, address, zip code, etc was obtained and that if I trusted them with my credit card, that credit card information would have been obtained by the hackers as well. Give us some store credits so we can use them on stuff we actually care for since you didn’t protect our private information, waited 2 days before you did anything, and then misrepresented the situation.

I think instead of offering a specific selection of games (which people could already own/have no interest in owning), it would have been better to simply offer a credit value of what two games would cost that can be redeemed for add-ons, games, etc. Even so, there’s a couple games on there I don’t own and if that’s the offer, I’ll take it. I wasn’t expecting much of anything apart from reimbursement for my Plus membership.

Overall, I am pleased with the package, even though there is room for improvement.

I’m just happy that it’s back up. I’m not pissed at Sony Corp., I’m pissed at the damn hackers that make our lives miserable. Wasn’t expecting any compensation, so for me, it’s a treat. Apparently, non-U.S. folks aren’t receiving these bonuses and I don’t think we should be treated any better.

Derek, I am a satisfied owner of a PS3 system (by the way the most powerful game system on the planet so far!) who does not use his financial information online at all! Sony offers consumers the option to buy anything using pre paid cards online. You must also keep in mind that xbox 360 is a DVD PLAYER & it’s disc uses the same format in it’s software, where Sony uses blu ray technology which is different .That can explain the download time for you. Even with that being said it is obvious that you own an xbox360. The titles are not horrible! You’re basing your experience on what you heard combined with your experience online using xbox live. Bro! You should keep playing the xbox 360 & not comment on things regarding a system that is far superior to what you use & get your facts straight! Sony was hacked! Sony disrupted the PS Network! Some people lost some personal information! That happens to banks & other financial institutions all of the time! Overall, my playing experience is great! No complaints & I get to watch a blu ray that looks great on my HDTV!

Boss_Game23, just shut it nobody cares that you seem to ignore every single problem the PlayStation 3 has not just its network. Lets not forget the massive long download time for ANYTHING on the system, how you have to update your system every time you play a new game, how the PSN can freeze your system when trying to connect to certain games, how it took an entire extra year for Sony to barely match the Xbox, the horrible exclusive PlayStation titles, and also far more expensive price on the Playstation 3 when first released. Im sorry either you work for Sony or you just ignore all the facts and only highlight what you like. Yes Xbox costs money while the PSN is free but remember you could be apart of the millions that had its identity stolen, and one day possibly wake up with money missing from your account, and if it does will a couple old school games and a useless PLUS service be enough to account for you potential financial loss? Take your Sugar Coating and stuff it buddy!
