Making the cards more available is certainly going to help the Playstation Network. Currently in order to purchase things from the store you have to either have a pre-paid card, or input your credit card information.

The cards are going make it much easier for people like children, for instance, who don’t have credit cards to find the cards, and purchase items from the store. While the cards have been available for some time, having them in more locations will certainly make things easier.
