PlayStation Experience is an event for the community

Sony's PlayStation events are always fun, but you may not have been able to attend one yet. If that is the case, you are in luck: Sony has announced an upcoming event that will last for two days and that is specifically for its gaming community. Called PlayStation Experience, the two-day event will be held this coming December in Las Vegas — Sony says it has been "planning this bad boy for some time", and that it'll be just in time for the console's 20th anniversary.

The event was announced today by Sony's Senior Manager of Social Media Sid Shuman, who says that gamers who attend should prep themselves for "two intense days" spent listening in on panels, playing upcoming PlayStation titles, talking to top developers, and more.

It is teased that "free swag" will be flowing freely at the event, which will take place on December 6th and December 7th. It seems there will also bee some collectibles from game studios made available for purchase, and that an exclusive preview of what Sony has up its sleeve for next year will also be showcased.

Sound interesting? Sony says it will have more details about the event on October 20, but it has given a few tidbits ahead of time: you can grab either a single day or two day pass, with the former being priced at $50 USD and the latter at $90 USD. Attendees will need to be at least 18 to attend.
