I downloaded a book from Play Book on my Android, i now have a Kindle Fire and would like to put book on the Kindle. Anyone know how to do that or if it’s even possible.

Not really, I love everything Mac, but I was very impressed with the playbook and price vrs the ipad, blackberry has a winner buy miles. I will get one soon and looking forward to it.

Those knocking this bit of kit are going WAY over the top. The actual device is GREAT quality and the touch screen is very good, as well as a good processor stereo speaker so on.. the only thing which is a burden is the Apps not being very fluent.. but for the price I would get one of these over an ipad anyway… I think its just the Mac fan boys who dont like it!

Once again RIM has dissapointed everyone. Android apps, whatever. Skype, netflix etc. isn’t even on the list !! Stuff like this should be done first !!
The playbook itself is a pile of junk !! Waste of money, I don’t want mine anymore so I’m looking for some to take it for free !!

You cannot even type or tap with confidence on the playbook. The screen hardly ever responds immediately and many times at all !!

RIM sucks, every single IT staff should be fired immediately. They took the worlds greatest phone and f’d it up. I used to be blackberry’s biggest fan and now I’m even thinking of giving up my berry.

What’s the point of a blackberry bridge when the tablet doesn’t respond to the users commands ? Fix the screen issues RIM and offer every playbook user a new device for free.

Otherwise. Join the dino’s.

I just got a Playbook and I love it. I’ve had two other tablets including a Sumsung and this unit is fantastic. You can’t beat it for the money and with new android apps being added every day its only going to get better. The negative reviews are way out of line (with the new update)

The *promise* of a large(r) number of stable android apps is not enough – the reality may be. Show me!BTW “overjoyed”? This is a world of techno-spoiled-brats, there will never be a consensus quorum of ‘overjoyed’ users of any technology. I mean, don’t let the total 27×7 dependence or the withdrawl symptoms of those who miss a nanosecond because their battery died fool you.In any event (opining) I wouldn’t bet against Blackberry and Playbook reestablishing a foothold as there were a huge number of these devices sold on the cheap a few months ago.

I just bought one at Best Buy, and have been playing with it for the last few days. I own the ipad2, kindle fire, nook color, and now this one. I am disappointed in the app selection from the BBC app world. I don’t think great hardware makes up for lack of software, and this is definitely the case here. This one will be going back to BB asap.

the android apps are in the appworld together with the native apps, which makes it difficult to isolate them. you have to specifically search for them. i have managed to find 3-4 android apps up till now…try searching ‘wattpad’ or ‘picassojr’ or ‘dolphin browser HD’
