Sold More than the Xoom, Incredible, that means RIM sold more than 300 Playbooks
Android Tablets are on pace to sell over 800 units a month combined. With the Booming Demand for Android Tablets and The Number of Android Tablet Apps approaching 20 the Android Geeks are finding it hard to control themselves. but but Android Phones sells more than Apple IPhone.

The XOOM has a ridiculous price tag attached, that is why it doesn’t sell.

Everybody told Motorola to forget about those silly asking price but they wouldn’t listen.

There is mention of “shonky” firmware in this article… the shonky firmware turns out to be the lack of a native email client or PIM app. These are apps, not firmware.
I think people, reviewers included, should ask themselves 2 questions when thinking about the playbook:
1) What is this device going to sell like when the email and PIM apps are added?
2) If you have an ipad2 and a playbook loaded with identical apps… which would you rather use? Screen size considerations aside.

Just sayin.

I have one for work and find it to be OK. Not as nice to use as my x61 tablet but much much lighter. But I do say that the eee Pad transformer is looking very very nice and I would certainly rather it to the 7 incher that I am bound to as tightly as my corporate blackberry. 10inch playbook maybe?

Someone said that Asus Tranformer had 100’000 units in the first batch and they sold very, very fast, now everyone has to wait for more. And it was in UK, not in US.
