If you want to listen to email, you need to set up your vocalyst account. Once done, if you press the headset button three times it will call vocalyst and when prompted, say “listen to email” and it will play your new emails at that time.

Hi, my normal VP (bought second-hand) just broke up today at the base of the rotating wrist (plastic wear). I’ve had very good talking and battery life experience so far with the VP, for almost a year. As I have to buy another headset now, I’m aiming on the V975 to overcome the plastic wear problem (I can’t find the M1100 second-hand yet). My 2 cents.

Hi, I have the plantronics VP+ head set and i want to enable “listen to email or news etc. but when i press the headset button for voice comand and i say “listen to email” it says i can only do call to contacts… How to have mail,news read/write option on this set? please help

Are you sure about this statement:

“The company has added in the same enhanced voice alerts and voice prompts from the Savor M1100, together with bundling the Vocalyst service.”

From some of the reading I’ve done….
They don’t have all the same alerts and prompts, & hence functionality via vocalyst.

So Vincent having used both for longer now, if you had to chose one, which would it be?
If you can can spare few minutes to fill me in, I’d be so very appreciative!?
I personally don’t care about appearance, so Pro+’s size doesn’t bother me.
