True, but they said the new generation will have iPad 3 color saturation. This, IMO is the real breakthrough, and not the retina display. Just when I thought nothing wold deter me from getting the Google Tablet…

The trouble with Pixel Qi is that aside from people attending company anouncements and a few Adam owners, nobody ever gets to see their screens IRL. And the reason is that for probably good reason very few manufacturers integrate them into their devices.
Probably not for the cost, but because the picture quality sucks in backlit mode.
No use to have a screen that is 50% more readable outside when it’s only 66% as readable inside…

I have a pixel qi scene on my Adam tablet and the color is poor the viewing angle are terrible

It works in the sun well. But I will believe this when I see it

Actually, I won’t mind if the color quality is not that great. This is a good alternative for the iPad that I can use for traveling. I think this is also going to a good educational tool for kids.

The issue with Pixel Qi is that it may be the champion of low power consumption, its color quality is not that great..
