Amazing enough, the guys at PirateBay.org are thinking way out of the box. They are going to buy a man made island called Sealand and build their own country to avoid copyright laws. However if they do not gather enough donation to purchase sealand, they are planning to try to buy another small island somewhere, which starts from $50000.
“With the help of all the kopimists on Internets, we want to buy Sealand. Donate money and you will become a citizien. We’ve set up a forum to discuss how the country is supposed to function. It should be a great place for everybody, with high-speed Internets access, no copyright laws and vip accounts to The Pirate Bay.”

How long do you think it would be until U.S. submarines blew the Sealand nation
out of the water?
I sincerely hope Sealand can protect itself at least marginally.
