Call me paranoid, but if I were to dive into the deep blue sea, I want to have as many backup oxygen as I can get. Ricardo Baiao probably has the same thought when he designed his Phantom compressed backup air system.

The Phantom oxygen pack is made to attach to the front of a wetsuit, and would provide the divers with five minutes of oxygen in case of emergency. While this is only a concept, it would be great if a company picks up on it and put it on the market for divers. You can never be too safe!

Agreed…it’s never a bad idea to have a fail-safe! If I ever tried scuba diving, I’d have about a half dozen of those bad boys strapped on to my wet suit! :D
