According to the Pentax Forums, this is the new K-series DSLR that will be officially announced on May 20th.  If authentic, the image – which names the camera the Pentax K7D – suggests the DSLR has a 14.6-megapixel sensor, as with the Pentax K20D, but paired with the PRIME II imaging engine.

There’s also said to be support for HD video recording, a first for Pentax in an DSLR, together with a viewfinder offering 100-percent coverage.  Other features include image stabilization, dust removal and resistance to dust and water.

Around the back there’s said to be a 3-inch 920,000 preview LCD with live-view.  Connections would include HDMI.  No word on pricing however, though.
