It wouldn’t work. A check can only be “cleared” by the issuing bank once. Since everything is done electronically now, you would have to act fast to get the check physically deposited after doing the paypal picture deposit. Even if you did manage to get the physical check in the bank, one of the check clears would fail and the money would be taken back from your account. On top of that, banks don’t look kindly on actions like this and you would probably find yourself facing fraud charges.
