Patriot unveils encrypted Bolt flash drive

Over the last few years, there have been several high-profile cases in America and Europe where flash drives with confidential data and computers with confidential information were lost. Some of the data was protected by encryption and some of it was not.

Businesses and consumers should understand the need to protect their data and Patriot has a new flash drive that offers storage space and protection for important documents. The new flash drive is called the Bolt. The Bolt is protected by 256-bit AES encryption for the data on it and uses 512/2048-bit RSA engine for user authentication.

The drive is fast with read speeds of up to 30MB/s and write speeds of 12MB/s. The drive is offered in capacities of 4GB to 64GB and can be purchases now from Patriot and authorized resellers around the world.
