'Paragon' early access comes to PS Plus next month

PlayStation Plus members will be getting early access to 'Paragon,' Sony has announced, with that early access being slated for July 5. Next month will also be bringing a handful of free games — also for PlayStation Plus members — including Saints Row: Gat out of Hell and Prince of Persia: Revelation. The full lineup of free PS Plus games will include two for the PS Vita, two for the PlayStation 3, and two for the PlayStation 4.

First things first is Paragon, which will have an open beta starting August 16. Before that, though, PS Plus members will get early access starting in July, as well as a Starter Pack with a trio of Master Challenges for the game's three heroes Rampage, Gadget, and Murdock. Overall, this will amount to a $40 value. Check out the trailer below to see the game in action.

If Paragon isn't your thing, you'll still have some other free games to enjoy. As shown in the trailer below, you'll get free access to Saints Row: Gat out of Hell for the PlayStation 4, Furi for the PlayStation 4, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood for the PlayStation 3, Fat Princess for the PlayStation 3, Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines for the PS Vita, and, finally, Prince of Persia: Revelation for the PS Vita.

Not familiar with PlayStation Plus? It's an optional subscription plan that costs $9.99 for one month, $17.99 for three months, or $49.99 for 12 months. With it, subscribers get access to free and discounted games and related content, as well as some exclusives such as the Paragon early access coming next month.
