I am on my second phone after pruchasing two months ago. The phone works well for six days and then it indicates that the SD card is damaged. After replacing with a new SD card it still does the same thing. I have wiped it started new and then they sent me a new phone. After a week with this new phone today the SD card situation happened again. Is this an ongoing problem with these phones?

I just got this tonight and am shocked it's not getting better reviews. I think a 4.3" screen is too big for me to easily use with one hand and 4" is the sweet spot. 3.5" on the iPhone is a bit too small and 4" like the Samsung Fascinate is just perfect. The case is rugged so you really don't need a case to add to this. One thing I hate on most other phones is finding a case/dock combination where I don't have to remove the case to put the phone in the dock. This shouldn't have a problem with docking assuming there's a dock available. I also like the hardware buttons, especially the camera and voice command stuff. Nuance is built-in and I can hold a button and tell it to open Gmail. Way cool though I haven't compared it with Siri. Should make using the phone while driving much safer. Finally, 4G LTE rocks. And if you get in now and tether to your laptop/tablet, then you can get grandfathered in to $30/mo for unlimited tethering. With my iPhone I paid $20 for only 2GB, so it's awesome to pay only $10 more per month and get super fast, unlimited tethering.

Battery life - may not be as good as the iPhone nor last all day, but you can get an extra battery and/or get one of the batteries that can connect to USB and the phone at the same time and that can become your backup battery you carry with you just in case. Ideally one of these batteries can charge your battery, but not sure I've seen that yet.

The only negative things I have on the phone are that the colorful menus make it seem a bit like a toy AND the cover on the microUSB will likely prove to be a pain.

BTW, I am able to play 720p h.264 videos on this phone smoothly, something I could first do on the Bionic whereas I could not do that on the Thunderbolt.

With this phone and after trying the Bionic, I find that it has what I need and I don't really need an HDMI out nor the higher resolution nor webtop of the Bionic. It rocks!

I actually have this phone as well and I am coming from multiple android handsets (nothing 4G though) and a palm pre plus. The battery really shocked me on this phone. I got up at 6:00 and starting using the phone for short browsing etc, phone calls, texts, then around 10 I started the music player and listened via headphones for 3 + hours, then the rest of the day of texting/surfing/phone calls/games and went to bed with around 20% battery remaining. I couldn't do all of that with my HTC Incredible. BTW, 4G speeds on this are actually even to the cable internet service I'm currently receiving. 10-12 mbps

I just bought one and for the most part I love the phone but the battery life sucks. I make a few phone calls and text and the battery stays charged maybe six hours if I'm lucky. Maybe something else is draining the battery life and I am going to take it back to see what's going on. Other than the battery, I love the phone.
