There are two advantages to active glasses. First, it allows for true HD viewing of 3D content - the viewer's resolution is not cut in half for each eye. Secondly, it allows for the screen to be untreated, thereby allowing a brighter, more vivid picture whenn watching 2D HD content.

I paid $22.85 for an iPhone 4-32GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $674 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, CentHub.com

How pig headed can you possibly be?

and how stupid must any consumer be to buy this crap of expensive, heavy, battery operated glasses like a scuba goggles that require recharging. They offer no advantage in 3D viewing either. All these companies are doing is making sure their ancient tech is universal among their TV's.. so bloody what.
