Panasonic GX8 micro four thirds camera leaks in gallery

Word has it that Panasonic will be introducing its new DMC-GX8 micro four thirds camera very soon (by the end of the week, if sources are right), and ahead of that launch has come a purported look at the camera. A gallery showing several shots of the camera leaked this week, and with the latest leak comes a batch of alleged specifications showing an all around high-end and relatively compact camera. We've a gallery of the shots after the jump!

The latest batch of images and specs come from Digicame-info, which has a good track record when it comes to not-yet-released camera details. According to its sources, the Panasonic GX8 will feature a 20.3 megapixel Live MOS sensor with a sensitivity up to 25,600.

As can be seen in the gallery below, both black and silver versions of the camera will be launched. There's reportedly a new photo engine and a new camera shake control system, as well as a multi-process noise reduction system and "three-dimension" color control.

Other rumored features include three 4k photo modes (all revolving around a burst mode), 4k video recording at 30fps, a 2.36 million dot EVF, high speed auto focus, video auto focus and stabilization, an electronic shutter with speeds up to 1/16000 and silent functionality, a mechanical shutter with speeds up to 1/8000, and connectivity features like NFC and WiFi.
