All these companies start with a hardware spec that can run Win7 well. They should instead start with a hardware spec adequate for running Android Honeycomb. Then there will be no spinning disk, much longer batter life, very fast startup time, a UI designed for touch instead of baked over Windows desktop UI, and much lighter weight for wielding with one hand for prolonged periods of time.
