Panasonic has announced the pricing for its 2014 Life+Screen AS650 Series of LED high-definition TVs. In addition to revealing the price for each, the company's new televisions are now available through the Panasonic website exclusively.
The AS650 series is comprised of the TC-50AS650U, which measures in at 50-inches and is priced at $1,199.99 USD. The TC-55AS650U, as its model number suggests, measures in at 55-inches and is priced a bit higher at $1,499.99 USD. The largest of the bunch, the TC-60AS650U, is priced at $1,699.99 USD and features a 60-inch display.
All three TVs feature 1080p resolution with Beyond Smart features, which aims to make the UI simple while remaining functional. The TVs' interface has been "overhauled" compared to previous models, and includes a personalization aspect that learns what kind of content the viewers prefer.
The updated my Home Stream is said to be more intuitive, while the my Stream feature dishes up content recommendations automatically. There's Voice Assistant for searching, my Home Cloud for downloaded content, Internet Apps, and Remote Sharing for sharing with smartphones.
