When you are quoting something that has a spelling or grammar mistake, insert the term sic in italics and enclose it in brackets then reference the correction after the quote.

Example: “Palm are [sic] clearly already planning which over-the-air (OTA) changes will come first.” Should be is, not are.

If you choose to point out grammar mistakes on the internet, always make sure your own butt is clean before you try to wipe others.
