While just a couple of bits and pieces were spilled yesterday, overnight it would appear that HTC made with the full-length video spot for their newest campaign entitled "Big Things Ahead." They also use the tag #HTChange, a single iteration of the multi-word collection of possibilities for what H.T.C. could stand for. It's also been suggested that this advertisement teases not only the HTC One Max, but the oncoming brand embodiment by Robert Downey Jr., Iron Man himself.

Microsoft details Windows Phone 8′s ticking clock (but Nokia disagrees)

Microsoft has confirmed the dates it will end official software support for Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.8, with both smartphone platforms set to run out of mainstream support in mid-2014. In fact, both phone OS versions will get eighteen months of Microsoft love in total, the company says, with Windows Phone 7.8 ironically outlasting its more capable successor because of its delayed launch.

Microsoft starts publishing Windows Phone apps again

Microsoft temporarily stopped publishing apps for its Windows Phone Marketplace recently after issues with some of its certificates led to problems for some Windows Phone users. The reason Microsoft temporarily stopped publishing apps was that a glitch with digital certificates used to sign apps led to some applications not installing properly. The good news was that the glitch was on the part of Microsoft so the issue wasn't on user's phones.

Facebook stumped on 80% fake ad click accusations

Facebook has pleaded ignorance to accusations of widespread fake advert clicks, saying that it is unable to replicate what one company claimed amounted to a 5:1 ratio of bot action to real users. Music platform startup Limited Run came to attention earlier this week after revealing that its own analytics suggested the bulk of advert action was fake. However, Facebook is struggling to find the same evidence.
