NASA reaches 10,000th near-Earth object milestone

Although the space agency has suffered from insufficient funding for its task, NASA has pressed ahead in the long process of finding near-Earth objects, which are more commonly referred to as NEOs. By doing so, the agency is able to anticipate whether a particular space rock is a future threat to our planet, something that is part of its larger goal of developing technology to deflect asteroids into a safer trajectory. A lot of progress has been made, and the first milestone has been reached - the identification of the 10,000th NEO.

Samsung has unveiled its latest Android smartphone, a low- to mid-range Galaxy S 4-lookalike for those with smaller pockets, the Galaxy Core. AT&T lights up six more LTE locations with further 77 this summer

AT&T has powered up its LTE service in six new locations in the US, taking its grand total to 182 markets, and revealing plans for another boost in availability in the coming months. The broader roll-out means that Jackson, Tennessee; Kalamazoo, Michigan; Napa and Santa Rosa-Petaluma, California; Rocky Mount-Wilson, North Carolina; and Orangeburg, South Carolina will all have 4G service from today.
