Samsung Galaxy S4 specifications tease biggest launch in company history

This week we're seeing more specification theories, leaks, and downright confirmations coming for the Samsung Galaxy S IV (or S4 if you prefer) than this device's imminent reveal would suggest. The big Samsung "Be Ready 4 The Next Galaxy" invites have been dropped and note a March 14th, 2013 event to be held in Times Square, New York City - if that's not a massive venue, we don't know what is. Samsung announces new Wallet app to take on Apple’s Passbook

During a developer conference at Mobile World Congress today, Samsung announced Wallet, an Apple Passbook-style ticket and coupon management app that looks to compete against Apple's own offering. Samsung has already launched the open API to the app, and the tool will allow users to save tickets, boarding passes, coupons, and other paperwork to a central hub on their mobile devices.

Galaxy Note 8.0 calls out iPad mini before it’s revealed

This week we've been hearing our fair share about this next-generation Samsung device known as the Galaxy Note 8.0, and today it's become clear: the competition is on for the iPad mini. While the iPad mini's display is 1024 x 768 across 7.9-inches, the Galaxy Note 8.0 has been tipped as 1280 x 800 across 8-inches - that's just about as close as it gets without perfect replication. We've also seen a supposed early press image leak from the likes of a fellow by the name of @Clasificatearg that, even if it's not straight from Samsung, gives us an idea of how similar this device will likely be to the Apple offering both aesthetically and technically.
