Google grabs six new Project Glass patents

Google grabs six new Project Glass patents

Google seems to have taken the litigious lessons it's learned from Android to heart, because the company is grabbing as many patents related to the new Project Glass as it can. The latest batch of six patents covers everything from helping the hearing impaired with visual cues to sensors designed to interpret the electrical pulses from the skin on a user's nose. None of them are officially associated with Project Glass, but the patent artwork speaks for itself.

The first batch of those little boards sold out quickly and then a production delay prevented other deliveries to people wanting to get hands on one. The company has announced that its first 2000 boards arrived in the UK this past Monday. However, the company was hit with a bit of a setback last week after two suppliers decided not to distribute the board.

In Pursuit of Brand Me

In Pursuit of Brand Me

We are a social animal. That doesn't exactly demand a psych degree to figure out. It's no surprise that one of the recurring entries on the periodic "top ten ways to annoy people on social networks" lists is the "mysterious update." You know the sort: "Big changes afoot…" or "Oh ffs, not again!" leaving readers curious and goggle-eyed (you hope) or simply frustrated (more likely) over what exactly it is in your interesting, exciting life that you're teasing about today.
