Google continues to refine its Google TV smart home entertainment platform, with a new YouTube app  released that promises easier content discovery, better topic hubs and streamlined control for users streaming to their TV. The app - available in the Android Market on Google TV 2.0 boxes - introduces a new Discover feature that filters YouTube channels by categories, including cooking, comedy, science and gaming. Over the past several weeks, I haven’t had much time to sit in front of my television when my favorite shows come on. I’ve either been out of the house, working, or doing something that wouldn’t allow me to watch anything live.

Luckily, though, I accessed my favorite shows on my DVR and TiVo. Whenever I had a chance to check out an episode, I did. And when I realized that what I was watching was really not worth it, I deleted it and moved on. Best of all, I didn’t have to watch a single commercial.

GameStop confirms will have PlayStation Vita midnight launch

Facebook defriending act blamed for double murder

After a couple was found dead in their Tennessee home, police pointed the blame to a couple computer clicks. Specifically, officials said, they were each shot in the head because they "defriended" someone on Facebook. And it wasn't even the defriended person who committed the homicides; it was her father and another man.
