Panasonic‘s second camera of the day doesn’t record 3D like the LUMIX DMC-3D1, but the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GX1 is the interchangeable lens camera many keen photographers have been waiting for. Packing a 16.01-megapixel Live MOS sensor and Panasonic’s Venus Engine, a 3-inch touchscreen, 1920 x 1080 60i HD AVCHD video recording and 0.09 second autofocus, the LUMIX GX1 works with the existing range of Micro Four Thirds lenses and will go on sale in mid-December.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-3D1 shoots 3D or simultaneous 2D/HD

Panasonic has revealed its latest point-and-shoot, the LUMIX DMC-3D1, and as the name suggests it's packing a pair of sensors for 3D still and video photography. The DMC-3D1 has two 12-megapixel sensors with 25mm ultra-wide angle lenses with 4x optical zoom, and as well as shooting 8-megapixel 3D stills or 1920 x 1080 60i 3D video, can also shoot 12-megapixel stills and 1920x1080i full HD 2D videos simultaneously, each sensor being used independently. HTC Ice Cream Sandwich update range revealed

Firefox 8 up for FTP download now

It's time to upgrade your Firefox web browser, ladies and gentlemen, and it won't be the same peaches and cream automatic update you're used to - this one's FTP. That means Mozilla has the files you need to update your Firefox to the next version, but at the moment you'll have to manually download them from their servers and load it up yourself. Motorola Corvair photos leaked

It appears that Motorola has had a bit of a leak this week in the form of not only some packaging but in the device itself, the device being one called Motorola Corvair, an Android 2.3 Gingerbread tablet that acts as a television controller. Besides that, the source of this leak, Nilay Patel of The Verge, notes that the device is in testing with cable companies right now. The devices true abilities remain somewhat of a mystery, but what seems clear is that it'll be a media controller with large displays in mind. Read The Full Story

HTC Vivid Review

This month AT&T have revealed their first two 4G LTE devices, the Samsung Skyrocket and the HTC Vivid, the latter device being the one we’re having a look at here today. This device is the next step in the HTC smartphone design evolution, and as you’ll see in the video portion of the review below, it’s almost as if they asked someone on the 3D mockup crew to cut off all the edges and make something sharp! We’ve already got AT&T 4G LTE speed tests from one of the few areas AT&T has its LTE network deployed (in Texas,) now it’s time to see if the phone stands up to the pressure of the rest of the HTC family (and the rest of the AT&T family as well.)

Announced back in September and hitting the shelves in just a few days is the Samsung Focus Flash and the Samsung Focus S. While very similar, today we’ll be quickly showing you the smaller of the two, the Focus Flash. It may be smaller in size but the specs are very similar and this AMOLED packing smartphone both looks and feels impressive.

Galaxy Nexus uses same NXP NFC solution as Nexus S

This week it was revealed by none other than NXP that they were the ones that have been in the Nexus S from Samsung powering its NFC component and will also be in the Galaxy Nexus, they therefore providing the NFC for both Google hero devices. This isn't a gigantic deal for those of you that just want your devices to work, not caring about what's deeply embedded in the devices to make them work so spectacularly, but for the Android need-to-know crowd out there, you'll need to know this: the same NXP PN65N solution used in the Nexus S will now be used on the Galaxy Nexus. Belkin readying an iPhone camera remote and stand
