Huawei in Microsoft Android patent talks amid smartphone push

Huawei looks likely to be the next Android OEM to agree to Microsoft patent licensing, following Samsung, HTC and others in paying the Windows creator. Huawei's CMO described the negotiations as "in progress" the BBC reports, as the company chases "very aggressive targets" for the next five years. Panasonic Toughpad A1 and Toughpad B1 Android tablets revealed

This week the folks at Panasonic have revealed one tablet and named a second, the first being the Toughpad A1, a 10.1-inch Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet with a processor from no less than Marvell, the most elusive chipmaker of all. Of course Marvell has appeared in mobile devices before, but the last time we spoke about them in regards to a mobile device was in the Vizio Tablet, then before that was a Chinese smartphone and on the Chumby 8. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launches: are you onboard?

The countdown has officially begun, and not the one leading up to the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but the one that marks the time before the entire world has access to the game so that they might play together online. Over in England at London's Old Billingsgate Market there's been a gigantic launch party with music, dancing, and running at high speed as the game was handed out to attendees - or there would have been if 574 Game and Gamestation stores across the country hadn't also released the game to queues of fans having waited for hours before launch. Kodak sells its image sensor unit to stay in business

Kodak announced today that it will be selling its image sensor solutions business to Platinum Equity in order to get closer to the cash targets required to keep the company afloat. Last month, Kodak licensed out its projector patents to IMAX for the same reason. Sony Music Unlimited gets major update for PS3
