We can be honest in that webcams are really rather boring. They all do pretty much the same thing. This new webcam from Genius is interesting though because it comes with a little singe ear headset. Flash Flushed: Adobe confirms HTML5 mobile focus

Adobe has announced that it will no longer develop Flash Player for mobile devices, confirming rumors that it is shifting to HTML5 as its mobile platform of choice. “HTML5 [is] the best solution for creating and deploying content in the browser across mobile platforms” Adobe VP Danny Winokur said on the company’s official blog, and the firm will work “with key players in the HTML community, including Google, Apple, Microsoft and RIM” to drive the standard further.

YU55 asteroid gets snapped by Keck Observatory

That blurry blob you see in the photo below that looks sort of like a not quite spherical orange is actually the first photo of the YU55 asteroid that I mentioned not too long ago. This asteroid will streak by the earth below the orbit of the moon making it very close indeed.
