Wii U kiosks offer US sneak-peek from today

Nintendo's Wii U may not start shipping to eager gamers in the US until November 18, but there's the chance of an early preview of motion/tablet gameplay thanks to 5,000 Wii U kiosks across US retailers. The new booths will be revealed at select Best Buy, GameStop, Target, Walmart, and Toys 'R' Us stores from today, either offering video information about the console or an actual chance to play with one of the launch titles.

Batmobiles new and old hit the streets for Dark Knight Rises DVD release

The Dark Knight Rises - one of the biggest movies of the year - will be releasing on DVD and Blu Ray soon (December 4 to be specific), and Warner Bros. has one whopper of a promotion planned for the lead up to release. Starting this weekend, Warner Bros. will send a total of six Batmobiles on tour across the country. The Batmobiles span most of Batman's Hollywood history, starting with the version seen in 1966's Batman, The Movie starring Adam West and ending with the black and camo Tumblers seen in Christopher Nolan's trilogy.

You're a lucky person if you're looking for a teaser of a teaser for Iron Man 3, because Marvel has just blasted us all directly in the face with 17 seconds of video you'll never forget. This teaser trailer is a teaser of a teaser - strange as that may be - with visions of a new inverted Iron Man suit, the back of Ben Kingsley's head, and lots of inception "BWOM" feelings with electronic buzzing blasts in the audio department. Needless to say, this trailer doesn't exactly tell us a whole lot.

Borderlands 2 makes strong showing on September software chart

We already took a look at gaming hardware sales for September, so now it's time to pore over the software chart for the month. Unsurprisingly, Madden NFL 13 took the top spot for the month of September, selling over 2.55 million copies according to NPD (via NeoGAF). NPD told GameSpot that Madden NFL 13 sales managed to climb 11% over Madden NFL 12 sales in its first month, which is definitely good news for Electronic Arts and its yearly football franchise.
