The OC Team Italy has managed to push a golden Pentium 4 631 (I’m not sure where one gets a golden processor) to a whopping 8180Mhz! You’ll note that the multiplier is locked, so this has been done solely by working with the FSB.
They managed to push the FSB to 545Mhz which is a 173% overclock. I’m not sure how they obtained a golden P4, but they have been incredibly successful with it thus far. I’m sure the purchase was more than worth it.
