He’s most likely referring to the Nokia ngage from 2003. My mom worked for Nokia at the time so I had the chance to play around with one, and it was honestly a design disaster. It was Nokia’s attempt to combine handheld gaming with the mobile phone industry. If I remember correctly, you had to hold the side of the device up to your ear when making phone calls, it was really weird. To top it all off, it only had a handful of crappy games. It’s no surprise most people don’t remember it.

This surpasses Facebook as far as hype goes. Could have just outsourced it to Alibaba .com for $4,500? Within a week of this hitting the shelves (if it ever does), knockoffs of equal or greater quality will likely be available from China at 20%.

i sent in my $99 for the console and controller. It sounds like a great idea and deal. I love video games, but cant stand playing them on a computer or cell phone. Give me a standard controller and the same game… I’m happy. I hope they can pull it off.

I predict some kick @ss retirements and not many products! ;’) Seriously, let’s hope this really produces a real product as they outlined and not vaporware. I’d buy a $99 Android game console for the giggles in a heart beat!… if it comes to market.
