He was a pretty great guy, at least as far as most Catholics were concerned. Anyways, OCC, the guys famous for their hit TV show and their amazing theme bikes have gone and made a bike in his memory. I have dubbed it the Pope Bike 2k7, I have no idea what they are calling it.
Their one saving grace is that they are kissing the 60 grand it cost them to make goodbye and donating the whole thing to a Christian charity. The bike includes a gas tank that is covered in the image of the great man himself and of several scenes from his life, other religious imagery, the PJP2’s coat of arms and the colors of the Polish flag. Since there is no chance I am ever going to become pope, let me say that if I were the pope, I would have come down and smitten the person who even thought of remembering me with a motorcycle, but I guess that’s why he was the pope and I have no chance in hell.
The bike will go on eBay August 26th. I must say though, that Pope John Paul II was one of, if not the greatest man of our time, regardless of your religion or lack thereof he did many great things during his life not only for the Catholic/Christian religions but for the world as a whole.

A Christian Charity? Why not a Catholic Charity?
Catholic Social Services, St. Vincent de Paul, Knights of Columbus, etc. Not that there is anything wrong with Christian charities, but if I don’t follow their logic on this one. Or really anything for that matter.
catholics are christians dudes
Uh, yeah. But all Christians aren’t Catholics.
Another reason why I am not a Catholic (anymore). 8yrs of grade school,4yrs of High School, and 4 yrs of college - all catholic. The “Pope Bike” is the most tawdry of all the gaudy offerings of OCC. It was magnanimous of them to “Bless” this outfit - the sponsors- of this monstrosity with their charitable beneficense. I cant wait to bid on this crass “tribute” to this truly great man. I’m sure he’d be overjoyed at this project. If I should be (un)lucky to be the successful bidded perhaps this sponsoring outfit of charlatans would be Catholic enough to include a few million indulgences. Martin Luther was right;where is he now that he is needed? My ladyfriend is hopeful that we win so she can sit on the Popes face.
I’m from Poland, I’m christian, I love this bike, and I don’t see anything wrong in this. They don’t sell it and take money to themselfs, but they share it. This chopper is propobly their best project I’ve seen.
I’m from Poland too, I’m not christian, but I’m proud to be polish if my nation could give the world at least one person like Karol Wojtyla - pope John Paul II. I like this bike and I find it a tribute to the person. Don’t judge the OCC crew. I hope you remember The Bible: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men”. They do the choppers, and they do it with all their hearts.
