		<description><![CDATA[I don&#039;t think the iPhone was ever crushed. Many have tried and while android phones are likely the single and most promising threat they have yet to conquer the ecosystem barrier to become as integrated and universally functional as the iPhone. To do this google would need to part from it&#039;s open approach and find a hardwaremaker to achieve seamless integration, which of course they won&#039;t. 
Also - the majority of Verizon iPhone owners left behind their  android phones and many more will this summer. I sincerely hope apple gets some worthy competition on the tablet market as well but thus far not google nor MS have figured out that instead of doing everything differently they just need to emulate apple with respect to the ecosystem. ]]></description>
