Oops, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 detailed in huge leak

That Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy Note 4 at its pre-IFA "Unpacked" event next month is hardly a secret by now, but the company probably isn't going to be pleased that full specifications for the phablet have just leaked. An Indonesian online retailer has jumped the gun on Samsung's September 3rd event, seemingly confirming things like the tasty QHD display.

According to erafone's prematurely-published listing, the Note 4 will have a 5.7-inch screen running at a hefty 1440 x 2560 resolution, for roughly 515 ppi pixel density. It'll be a Super AMOLED panel, of course.

Inside will be either a quadcore 2.5GHz Snapdragon 805 Krait 450 processor, in the SM-N910S version, or one of Samsung's own Eynos 5433 octacores in the SM-N910C. Each is paired with 4GB of memory and 16, 32, or 64 GB of storage.

There's also a microSD slot, capable of handling cards up to 128GB in size, along with microUSB 3.0 (including MHL-HDMI output) and USB Host support.

Wireless connectivity includes six band LTE along with HSPA/GSM, and there's WiFi a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, WiFi Direct, and DLNA streaming. Bluetooth 4.0 is unsurprisingly present too.

On the back, there's said to be a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and a dual LED flash. It can apparently shoot 2160p video at 30fps, or 1080p at 60fps, both with stabilization.

What's not clear is the size of the battery, which we're guessing will need to be sizable considering the resolution of the display and the general power inside the Note 4.

According to the listing, the Note 4 will come in at IDR 9,499,000, which works out to around $817 in a direct translation. Obviously US street pricing will be slightly different, and most will pick the Note 4 up subsidized with a new agreement; we'd expect to see that price come in at around the $299.99 mark.

We'll know more when we head to Berlin next month for Samsung's event, where we're also expected to get some hands-on time with the new Samsung Galaxy Alpha announced yesterday.
