OnePlus 3 tipped to launch in two versions

Over the last several weeks, there have been a number of leaks that have shown us a bit about what we can expect to see in the new OnePlus 3 flagship smartphone. We have seen the device turn up in benchmarks packing 6GB of RAM and we have seen a version of the device hit AnTuTu packing 4GB of RAM. A new rumor has surfaced pointing to the price the device is expected to offer.

According to a source claimed to be from within the company, the OnePlus 3 will sell for 1999 yuan or about $310 in the US. The assumption is that lower price tag will be for the more basic version of the device packing 4GB of RAM. That standard version will use a Snapdragon 820, 4GB or RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.

The high-end version of the device is tipped for the same Snapdragon 820 processor with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It's unclear at this point just how much more that high-end version might sell for. OnePlus is expected to get official with both devices around May 18 with an on sale date in early June.

Previous leaks tip the OS to be Android 6.0.1. Geekbench results show the device scored 2266 points on the single core test with the multi-core test racking up 5012. If the rumored launch date is accurate, we will only have a few more weeks to wait to find out exactly what both versions of the device will sell for and how accurate rumors on specifications were.
