The guys over at Penny Arcade rock If you don’t already read their comic, you should check them out sometime. Well, as long as you’re not easily offended, if you are, you might not want to stop by. Anyway, for those that have read and enjoy the Penny Arcade comics, you’ll be excited to know that they will be making their venture into the world of 3D very soon.

They have released what they are calling the “real trailer” for their upcoming game. The game looks pretty cool, for being based on a comic strip. According to Gabe (I know that’s not his real name) over at Penny Arcade “We’ve got the cell shading going now and you get an idea of just how much 2D animation is going to be in the game. The goal really is to make something that is essentially a playable comic strip.”

The game is still a ways off, so don’t expect to see this hitting stores any time soon.
