Official Etch a Sketch app for iPad lands

You might recall a while back I mentioned a cool new case for the iPad from Head Case that made the iPad look like the old school Etch a Sketch most of us have played with at some point in our lives. If you liked that case and wished there was an iPad specific app to compete the transformation from iPad to Etch a Sketch today is your lucky day.

The official Etch a Sketch app for the iPad has landed on the App Store. The app is from developer Freeze Tag, the same company that made the official iPhone version of the app. Since there are no big white knobs on the iPad; you use your finger to draw on the screen.

When you want to erase the picture you drew, you can do so just as you do with the real Etch a Sketch, you shake the iPad. The official name of the app is Etch a Sketch HD to differentiate it from the iPhone version. Monochrome line art can't be any higher quality.
