It seems that manufacturers are really starting to understand the importance of making flash drives that can really take a beating. This is good news for me, because I’m not really sure what it is I do to them, but I’m hard on flash drives. OCZ as just released their new ATV line of flash drives  that promise to stand up to a beating.

OCZ ATV

The OCZ ATV and ATV Turbo drives are encased in durable rubber tread housing that appears to be similar to my Corsair Flash Voyager. One distinct feature that I like about the ATV is the fact that it has a little plastic piece on which you can place your cap when you’re using the drive.

If you’re into performance and speed, the ATV Turbo will get you read/write speeds of 35MB/s and 30MB/s respectively. The drives are available in sizes of 2GB, 4GB and 8GB.
