NVIDIA's Jen-Hsun Huang Says Android Will be Better Tailored for Tablets by Fall

That didn't take long at all, did it? In a classic move, which aren't even directly related, we've got Microsoft's Guggenheimer saying Android's an experiment for tablets, and NVIDIA's CEO saying the complete opposite. That's just the way things go, and goes a long way to show just where people's (and company's) faith is in the coming months –and years– of the technology market. According to NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang, Android is worthy enough to unite hardware manufacturers, even if it isn't ready for prime time quite yet.

According to Huang, Windows 7 is simply too big, and too fully-featured to be useful on something like a tablet, or even smartbooks. Because of that, Android makes the perfect Operating System (OS), and finds that it's the perfect OS for the manufacturers out there to unite behind. Unfortunately, not everything is shiny for Android, as Huang admits that the little 'droid from Google just isn't ready for prime time. At least when it comes to tablets. However, he says that Google is aware of this, and the company is hard at work at making improvements, or "evolving" the software to make it capable of being the best tablet OS on the market.

Huang suggests that we'll all have to wait until the Fall for this to happen, but apparently it's going to happen. He seems confident of this, to say the least. He goes on to say that the Operating Systems are coming together, and so are the manufacturers. We're happy to hear that that's the case, and we can't wait to see what comes of it later this year. The evolution of the software, in conjunction with the hardware means that it could be pretty spectacular.
