Sadly this isn’t a review done by us, but it scored high earning 9.0 out of 10 by the person who did review it. In case you haven’t been paying attention, the 9600 GT has been thrown around for quite sometime now, but today NVIDIA finally officially released it and ASUS and XFX were there with cards ready.

XFXGeForce9600GT

This 9600 GT had the factory clock speeds, although I am sure factory over-clocked versions are mere days away. With all of the new graphics cards coming out, this could be the best one available for the casual gamer for a long time, with the 116% performance increase over its predecessor, a price of under $200, and the new PureVideo features this is it.

This particular XFX model is $179 but all the other models that I saw in a cursory Google Products search were at or below $200. The reviewer said that even with the stock clock speeds he was really impressed with the performance from this card, so, if you aren’t a hardcore gamer, but want something better than the integrated video in your system, this will likely be the card for you for quite a while.
