NVIDIA GeForce 3D Stereo Glasses could be released this year

3D has always been one of those things people are interested in. It just seems so future-y, doesn't it? But now, NVIDIA has sent the manufacturing process of their GeForce 3D stereo glasses over to EMS provider Flextronics.

This product has already passed design validation back in October and might be shipped by sometime before the end of this year. Word has it that NVIDIA will only be shipping the glasses to a single distributor per market to keep prices fair.

One problem on the horizon for this product, however, is the fact that there is only one display available on the market that supports the related graphics cards. This could spell trouble when it comes to trying to broaden interest and encourage sales of the glasses. But, we'll just have to wait and see how NVIDIA introduces them.
