NVIDIA announces its newest core-logic lineup for Intel CPUs. The new nForce will be 680i SLI, 650i SLI, and 650i Ultra. These chipset is going to give gamers some boost. Nvidia has adopt a new scheme to name its chipset to give the market clear cut on which chipset is for Intel’s processor or AMD’s processor. The “i“ variant will be use for Intel chipset and “a” will use for AMD chipset. Using NVIDIA reference design, EVGA is the first motherboard manufacturer that releases nForce 680i based board. EVGA’s nForce 680i SLI board includes all the chip’s features such as the LinkBoost, FirstPacket, DualNet, MediaShield and high definition audio technologies.
