Let's see if the incompetent RIM CEO will come out refuting what customers are saying about reliability. And did the CEO meet with the NTSB prior to their decision? RIM Board: Are you keeping an eye on your star performer?

Yeah I get they already entered the iOS ecosystem with iPads... Just not sure why. When I think of wasteful spending, it's employees of a broke government with overpriced iPads and iPhone 5s.

You guys are like Rabid sports fans -Blindly cheer leading Android simply because you think iOS is beneath you. They stated that they have apps already supported on the iPad. This isn't a case of "Go Android! Poo poo on iOS". I own a GS3, but I won't scoff at decision makers who evaluate devices . Find a better argument than "Android is #1, Baby!" This is an OS - not your favorite NFL team.

Back on topic - I find it hard to believe that RIm devices are failing after 11 months. With the exception of the roller track balls, all of the current Bb devices are well made and a durable.
If APPs, Internet speed are crucial, then yes, BB is horribly crippled against iOS or Android. If it is simply just email, there is no better device on the planet.
Unfortunately, I have to carry a BB 9900 for work and a GS3 for personal use because the BB just doesn't have sufficient media capabilities
