I could see a lot of value added for the ability to recognize pen pressure and angle. I know it might be a little too soon for this now, but I think it could be the future to capitalize on the tablet market with all of the knowledge and expertise they have with pen input.

This is not a render of the Notion Ink device. The illustrations are old renders used to illustrate an article about a hypothetical portable internet device running linux that was widely used on gadget websites and for some reason ended up be ing used to illustrate stories about the Notion Ink on Slashgear. The Notion Ink looks nothing like this render. What makes this even more bizarre is that Slashgear has links and images on its site that show the actual Notion Ink. Simply a case of some very lazy web designer grabbing an image that had been used in a previous article without bothering to check the caption.

As of a few days ago, it does have an official name: Adam

The Notion Ink Adam

And there's some new coverage of it, from CES, on both engadget.com and jkontherun.com. The prototype looks less like a stealth fighter, and more traditional ... and performs amazingly well. Target is supposedly $300 +/- $50, and available in April.
