Adam is not compatible with Honeycomb. NI created their own version of the OS, Eden. For applications notion Inc created their own application store, because their version of the OS is not compatible with Andriod Market,

Today is January 22, Sunday. and Adam still not shipped yet.
Rohan Shravan is just a lair, which is trying to create nice publicity by clearing all negative responds on his blog. The most interesting thing is a quantity of the Adam which was pre ordered. There are rumors that this is just couple of hundreds, less than a thousand

Neo…this is your last chance. After this there is no going back. You take the ipad and use it…however Steve Jobs lets you use it. You take the Adam by Notion Ink…and you see just how far a tablet can go.

Based on iPad sales number I would say that if someone had told this to Apple they wouldn’t have cared. Their giant ipod/tablet is a success and thats all that really matters.

It does not matter how original and unique the Adam is, if it doesn’t sell enough units to make a profit it will be DOA.

Vaporware, trying to take sales away from apple. I own an original Droid, two PCs and a Mac. So I am not a Mac fan. However, this is bait and switch vaporware.

I’m getting so giddy, like a teenage girl at prom. Adam is getting so close. I have not been this excited about a piece of tech since . . . well honestly, not since Dreamcast. Different kind of tech, for entirely different kind of use, I know. But it made me feel all giddy inside anticipating it, all the same, for all the innovations and new ideas it was bringing to the table. And every time news surfaces about Adam, it’s about something else the Notion Ink team seems to have gotten right, that maybe some of their larger competitors, never thought about, or got too lazy/cheap to include.

Custom UI, custom software . . . these are the things that truly are going to differentiate tablet computing from just being an over-sized cellphone experience. Someone should have told this to Apple and 90% of the Android tablet OEMs out there, because very few of those guys seemed to have gotten the memo. And that’s why Adam being this close to launch, makes me giddy . . . and that’s why I’m counting my pennies towards my Adam purchase, and none of the other guys. Heck, if I wind up loving the Adam as much as I think I am, then I’ll happily buy a second one for my GF on her birthday.
