Where did someone say (preferably the CEO of Notion Ink), that Android Market will not be supported?

In fact, he (the CEO) explicitly has said, that the panels where designed with the existing Android Market phone apps in mind!

“Panels also allow you to now work on the application which currently exist on Android Market. Since they were made for mobiles, just enlarging (2x) them doesn’t make any sense. So now you can run them in a panel without any pixelation.”

@tom MS windows is a aging software..which has been written in 90′s..and have a peculiar tendency to eat battery power and hog the system resources.. start fresh use android instead..

i have been waiting for this tablet since I first read sbout it and cant wait to preorder but ordered archos 70 and will preorder the adam as soon as its available and when it arrives will have two tablets with greater functionality that the apple ipad for approx 200 dollars less than the 3g model of the ipad to me thats worth the wait for the adam

I’m going to go ahead and be negative over a great product. The tech gadget industry industry is largely in love with the big name players namely Apple, Dell, Microsoft, Google etc. Every review is going to have something negative to say about the fact that the Adam doesn’t do the Android Market, or isn’t also a phone, etc. I’ve been waiting for this tablet for month, but it’s got an uphill battle that other companies don’t have.

well, with he archos 101 lauch all messed up, g-pad ui messed up out of the box, advent vega delayed, Malata lot more expensive than expected . . .. .. hell why not wait a bit more and this this a chance – all the big boys have screwed up anyway! can’t wait for the release

Man, if they push the release date on this thing back one more time, I think I’m gonna EXPLODE. This thing rips the iPad, Playbook, and Galaxy Tab in every category possible with the sole exception of pixel density (res). Interesting how such a small company is getting this much attention.

My only real wonder about this product is the 3G service, I’m not much of a data plan kind of guy, but if the provider company is cheap enough, hell, I’ll blast an extra $50 bucks for it.

All those who are wondering:

“LCD version will cost $399 for the WiFi-only and $449 for the 3G model, while the Pixel Qi version will cost $449 for the WiFi-only and $498 for the 3G model.”

Has there been any indication as to where it will be retailed or will it only be available online? With wifi, 3g and gps this is definitely got my interest. Add in sub $500 PRICING and it could be a winner.
