Odd they didnt go with tegra 3, since it is currently the buzz. Really though, there should be no bitterness. Hardware isnt great, but it works, and more than I’d expect from a startup company (battery life sucks though)

I bailed because of the unceasing trail of broken promises and outright lies, all the way down to one of their fans who lived down the road from their “new exciting office space”..and posted that when he stopped by to see it, it was essentially an abandoned construction site with no activity.

These guys are predators.  They take advantage of people who have legitimate hopes for a decent product and screw them.  Just to be clear, I never bought the tablet, but their forum (if you bother to  track into older posts, 2 years ago or further if they’re still there) will be massively enloghtening to anyone who thinks this announcement represents anything close to reality or truth.

They’ve just had some missteps, which all start ups have to deal with and most of the issues have been software and driver support that given their limited budget is understandable.

It remains to be seen whether they can make it but it’s premature to count them out yet.

The word on the ground is that this company does not seem to have any developers on payroll (or the money to pay them with), and unless they have a huge surprise for us in store, the good developers at TabletROMs might be roped in to float their boat.

Oh, how I wish somebody will eventually come up with a good Linux tablet with a good OS/UI suitable for touchscreens…unfortunately there won’t be any market for that.
