Also… why you say there’s going to be a Maemo 6 device? At least I haven’t heard they’ll be releasing a Maemo 6 handset instead of Meego on board.

Eldar… an arch insider?!? Arch enemy/Nokia hater he is, nothing else. He is no insider. Sometimes he might get his hands on some stolen prototype etc. and other times if he keeps quessing on things enough he gets to be “right” on occasion. But he most certainly has no insider information on Nokia’s strategy or the plans of Nokia’s BoD.

I would love to see the Harmattan device (N950) sell more than their WP7 handsets. I still think Elop just sold them down the river with that.

Shame though- if/after Nokia axes Meego/Maemo development, I won’t have any reason to buy from them anymore. This coming from a guy with at least 3-4 Nokia purchases (and only 1 Samsung which was my only non-Nokia phone.)

If Eldar is right (he seems to be right maybe 50% of the time). Then Microsoft pulled an awesome game ending move. Glad I am switching me and all of the people who take advice from me, from Symbian to WebOS. Also looking forward to developing for it.

I will laugh sooooo hard if Nokia’s Hamattan device ends up selling more than Nokia’s WP7. I will also be surprised if Nokia walks away at the very end of the year with more than 17 percent of the market, and 2012? They will only have about 10 percent, but MS will have bought 10 percent of the market for 2 billion dollars. Pretty decent deal.
